Book a Yoga Class
We’re currently taking a brief hiatus while we search for a new space to conduct classes. We appreciate your support and will let you know as soon as we are back on the mat.
About our Classes
Under the gentle guidance of our yoga instructors, you’ll find the space to connect with your body, soul and mind. Before you attend a class, be sure to remember your yoga etiquette.
Our teachers often do guest spots at other studios.
We like to keep our classes small. We generally hold space for around 5 to 15 people, depending on the location. For the latest group class updates, head over to our Instagram page.
Types of Yoga
We offer a range of unique yoga styles. Each group class has a distinct Asana Tribe flair. Our classes are suitable for all levels, offering variations for beginners and more advanced yogis.

Yin Yoga
In life, balance is essential. Yang yoga is exceptionally popular but the power of Yin yoga shouldn’t be ignored. With longer holds, deep stretches and ultimate relaxation, these classes are the best way to unwind.

Restorative Yoga
Sink into relaxation with our Restorative Yoga classes. With the support of yoga props, you’ll enter a space of deep rest.
Calming the mind is yoga. Not just standing on the head.

Aerial Yin
Take some time out to be with your body. Yin yoga is simple, but it’s far from easy.
The aerial hammock adds a whole new dimension to yin yoga. It allows for deeper stretches, better support for longer holds and allows for different asanas (including some delicious inversions).
When we are willing to risk venturing into the wilderness, and even becoming our own wilderness, we feel the deepest connection to our true self and to what matters the most.

Restorative Aerial Yoga
Indulge in the ultimate form of relaxation with Restorative Yoga assisted by an aerial hammock.
The first time you choose yourself it will feel like a mistake. One day it will just be habit.

This practice moves from the external world of seeing to the internal world of hearing, feeling and being.

In order to know the light, we must first experience the darkness.

Our teachers are trained to work around injuries.
The beauty of yoga is that it can be tailored to suit your body. However, we recommend a private one-on-one session in order to know how to adjust your personal practice for group sessions, especially for more serious injuries. Just be sure to let our teachers know about your injuries before the class so we can accommodate you.
We recommend consulting your healthcare professional if you have serious injuries.
If you want to join our aerial yoga practice, there are some contraindications you’ll need to be aware of.
Booking for group classes is done via our booking app (bookamat).
Booking for private classes can be done via email or our contact form.
Booking for events and workshops can be done via email or our contact form. However, some events will be on our booking system.
Payment can either be made via our booking system (Bookamat) or via bank transfer. Alternatively, cash payments are accepted at the venue (T’s and C’s apply).
Please familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions to avoid disappointment or confusion.
Our group classes have limited capacity to provide the optimal experience. To make sure classes aren’t overbooked we require bookings to be done in advance.
Yes, however, we recommend attending a private class (either one-on-one or in a small group) before attending one of our group classes.
This helps our teachers familiarise themselves with your yogic experience, body awareness, and capacity. Every pregnancy and mother experience is different, as is every body.
We also do recommend choosing restorative yoga or yin practice if you are new to yoga.
We advise checking in with your healthcare professional before attending a class.
Please inform your yoga teacher of your pregnancy before any class.
Our waiver can be found here as well as in our registration form. The waiver needs to be signed before any class joined with Asana Tribe.
Our private classes are tailored to suit your needs. This means we quote each client separately. Please contact us for a quote and we will get back to you.
Note: If our quote does not suit your needs, we completely understand and will not take offense.
All of our classes are designed to accommodate beginners unless otherwise specified (yes, even the aerial yoga classes!)
Ideally, your yoga mat should between 3 and 4mm. We wouldn’t recommend having a mat more than 6mm thick.

Yoga is an incredible practice that can be adapted to suit anyone. It’s never too late to start yoga! (or too early. There are some great kids’ classes available).
Everyone’s body is different. You don’t have to be flexible to try yoga. All poses are adaptable to suit different bodies. You might find that your flexibility it certain areas is even better than you think.
Plus, with regular practice, your flexibility will likely increase over time.
